About the Swamp Rabbit Quilt Guild:
The Swamp Rabbit Quilt Guild was established in 2009 . The original group of ladies all enjoyed sewing and quilting and by meeting together they learned from each other and also began making quilts to donate to cancer patients at the hospital.
Our primary service project now is making baby quilts for North Greenville Crisis Ministry. For Christmas, members sewed 100 gift bags that we filled with full size toiletries and donated to North Greenville Crisis Ministry.
Some of our members also make quilts for Miracle Hill Boys Shelter, Mercy Triune Center, Quilts of Valor, Ronald McDonald House and Greenville Hospital's NICU as well as a donation of gift bags for children with toys inside that went to North Greenville Crisis Ministry to distribute. Our members have giving hearts and are finding many ways to make a difference.
We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7PM at the Travelers Rest Sargent Branch Library, 17 Center St, Travelers Rest, SC.
